Welcome! Thank you for your interest in graduate study at Christopher Newport University. I am pleased
that you have chosen to continue your educational and career development , and invite you to explore the exceptional graduate opportunities we have available. We offer two outstanding Master of Science (MS) degree programs in Applied Physics and Computer Science and in Environmental Science. Additionally, we offer an excellent Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree and licensure program, which also prepares students for teacher licensure in many areas, from Art to Elementary Education, Mathematics and more.
Regardless of the program you choose, you will be taught by vibrant faculty, and you will learn alongside your colleagues in the classroom, in the field, and in research labs, providing you the knowledge and real world experiences you need to be engaged citizens of the 21st century.
